Everyone had a lovely time when both Barry and Cardiff homes went to Bristol Zoo for the day . Seeing the animals up close and personal was enough to put a smile on their faces. The residents all came back and praised the zoo staff who were very accommodating to them throughout the day.

One resident said she remembered going there years ago to see the flamingos and so brought back many happy memories. We saw lots of animals including gorillas, seals, lions and kangaroos.
One of our residents said ‘Oh I’ve had a wonderful time, my favourite part was going into the birds house and looking at all the birds, it was lovely’ . Team finished off the day with a picnic in the sunshine, everyone had a really enjoyable time, we look forward to coming back again someday.
